Dr. Leonardo Palau Houston

Dr. Palau has been in practice in Houston since 1997 and is board certified in Infectious Diseases. His clinicla inetersts include skin and soft tissue infections, Saphylococcus Aureus bacteria particularly MRSA, and Travel Medicine.


Vipul Desai, MD, FACP

Dr. Vipul Desai is a double board certified physician in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. He attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN and then completed his medical training at the New York Medical College in New York. Dr. Desai went on to become the Associate Program Director in the Division of Infectious Disease at Texas Tech University and played an integral role in developing the Infectious Disease Fellowship training program. There, he trained doctors to become an Infectious Disease specialist and was involved in cutting edge research, such as Dysphagia in HIV. Furthermore, he has published articles in prestigious journals such as the American Journal of Medical Sciences and Infectious Diseases in Clinical Practice. Dr. Desai enjoys spending time with his wife and son, playing guitar, and outdoor sports activities. His clinical interests include Antibiotic IV Infusion Therapy, MRSA Infections, Multi-Drug Resistant Organisms, and Travel Medicine.


Dr. Timothy Chen

Dr. Timothy Chen is a board certified physician in Internal medicine and Infectious Diseases. He graduated from West Virgina Shool of Osteopathic Medicine medical school and completed he completed his fellowship in June 2015. He enjoys spending time with his wife and playing basketball and soccer. Dr. Chen sees patients in both the hospital and clinic setting. His clinical interests include Prosthetic joint infections, Antibiotic IV Infusion therapy, Bacteremia and Hepatitis C.


Dr. Rahat Vohra

Dr. Rahat Vohara is a board certified in Inernal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. Despite the pleas of his friends and family, he went on to Texas A&M for medical school he still claimed to bleed burnt orange, however). Dr. Vohra completed his residency and fellowship training at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. His clinical interests include Antibiotic IV Infusion Therapy, MRSA Infections, HIV, and Travel Medicine.
